Ka for Kathleen. Bo for Bob.
Sisters Rosaleen and Aisling named their cafe after their parents, and that tells you everything about how this place is run. Kabo Coffee sits in the middle of Letterfrack, right where the road meets Connemara National Park.
The coffee is specialty grade and the food is made fresh every morning. Sausage rolls, homemade cakes, wraps, chowder, full breakfasts. There's a vegan breakfast too, and plenty of gluten-free options. If you have the dog with you, bring them in. They'll get a puppuccino.
Next door to the counter, Siopa Kabo stocks jewellery, soaps, fudge, and gifts made by Irish makers. Nothing mass-produced, nothing imported. 128 Google reviews and a 4.9 star rating say the rest.
